Richard Hill is a leadership development practitioner who focuses on core principles of leadership, organisation culture and purposeful business, and the ways in which these can be harnessed to create impact, success and sustainable outcomes.

As an Associate of the Møller Institute he is in demand as an educator, speaker and facilitator, recognised for the impactful learning outcomes and creative experiences he crafts within our leadership development programmes.

Experience

With almost two decades of experience supporting individuals, teams and organisations to fulfil their leadership and impact potential Richard brings a keen eye for discovering the most useful and relevant leadership strategies in any context. Having worked with businesses large and small, public sector bodies from across the world, and NGOs of all scales, Richard is able to actively translate insights and learning into all professional landscapes, drawing on validated research and knowledge.

Richard was Director of Leadership Development at the Møller Institute for five years, where he served as part of the Executive team as well as guiding and shaping the philosophy and activity of the Møller Institute’s education provision. Former roles include Founding Executive Director of the Centre for Compliance & Trust at Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education, and Programme Director or Client Director for numerous leadership programmes for multinational, regional and local organisations. These range from largescale multinational corporate businesses, such as global banks, pharmaceutical companies and FMCG organisations, to UN institutions, Civil Service bodies, Government leader and public sector organisations. Richard was also the Co-founder of the not-for-profit organisation Realize, working in Central America to deliver better outcomes for individuals with disabilities.

He has worked extensively to create new models that explain and communicate the complexities of trust, culture and leadership, and continually works to build new ideas and perspectives which reflect the constantly changing contexts in which leaders operate.

Having worked with established leaders, emerging leaders and aspiring leaders from a vast range of organisations around the world he is able to navigate cultural, sectoral and national differences and make true leadership impact a reality. Richard’s key role is to be the voice in the room which creates the opportunity for individuals, teams and organisations to uncover, distil and develop their full leadership potential.
