Heide has cross-cultural experience of leading teams across four continents in a broad range of executive roles with Microsoft, Liberty Global, BT, CK Hutchison and Bertelsmann. She has delivered significant revenue growth, M&A value creation, culture- and business transformation. Heide led the demerger of Liberty Latin America, managed a team of engineers to deliver communications for the London 2012 Olympics and set up the mobile operator 3 in Austria.
A pioneer of digital transformation and innovation since her early career in management consulting, Heide chairs the Digital Committee at Chatham House. She is also the Senior Independent Director of the British German Association and chairs the Nominations Committee at Ecole Française de Londres Jacques Prévert. Previously, Heide has been a Non-Executive-Director of a range of organisations in culture, housing and customer loyalty.
Heide holds MAs in media from the Royal College of Art and Technische Universität Berlin, an MA in Psychotherapy from De Montfort University Leicester as well as the Financial Times Non-Executive Director’s Diploma. She has recently completed a PhD on the discourses of female corporate leadership at the University of Cambridge.
