Møller Institute Associate Ruth Berry and Programme Manager Tina Cronin have delivered a one-day leadership development workshop to global IT support provider, Tek Experts, at their annual Leadership Conference – Leading through Change in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The session was part of a five day conference for the Tek Experts team and Tina supported Ruth’s delivery through the night remotely from Cambridge via a link up into the classroom with support from the Møller Institute Technical team.
Around 50 Country Heads attended the conference as well as Tek Experts C.E.O, Naama Saar which focused on leadership behaviours and leading through change. All participants completed the Explorer Mindset Leadership Diagnostic pre-programme, this diagnostic was developed by Møller Institute and Thrive Matters, a company run by Møller Associate, Portia Hickey. This diagnostic frames seven mindset dimensions formed of core psychological characteristics and leadership approaches. Ruth and Tina’s session gave the participants an insight into two of these dimensons – ambiguity tolerance and perspective taking.
Carol McCarthy, Tek Experts Chief HR Officer said of the event ‘The Møller Institute session was truly an example of adaptive leadership, building and reacting to the information that the business shared on day one to produce a day of targeted learning for us.’
This exciting new work was won as a result of Tina maintaining a good working relationship with DMGT’s former head of talent Cath Rush. DMGT were an executive education client for many years (details here) and Cath is now the Global head leader and manager development at Tek Experts.
